One code, many destinations, on a resolver you own
A dynamic code encodes a short link, so the printed image never changes while the destination stays editable. Custom domains ship today with no per-domain surcharge, so a product code already resolves on a domain you control rather than a rented link a vendor can hold hostage. The GS1 Digital Link layer, a GS1 Digital Link on your GTIN, resolving on your own domain, answering one code, many destinations by purpose, is coming: the resolver is coded and unit-tested and is deploying, so we describe it as in preview, not live.
Identity is the expansion metric
Scans are the value metric; active GS1 product identities are the expansion metric, a premium unit for connected products, billed distinctly from plain codes. Business is $149/mo, or $124.17/mo billed annually (save 17%) and includes5,000 product identities, with each active identity beyond the allotment at $2 a month. Plain codes stay generous; you pay for the SKUs you actually register, never per code.
Sunrise-2027-ready, not a compliance guarantee
The EU Digital Product Passport and the GS1 Sunrise 2027 migration are pushing brands toward per-item digital identifiers. redireo is Sunrise-2027-ready in the sense that matters: the resolver runs on your own domain and is built to the GS1 Digital Link standard. We describe it as conformant, never GS1-certified, and creating a Digital Link does not by itself make a product compliant with a regulation, that stays with the manufacturer.
