Add standards-ready product QR codes in Canva

Add standards-ready product QR codes to packaging and labels inside Canva, a GS1 Digital Link on your GTIN, resolving on your own domain, dropped into the artwork where it belongs. The resolver you own, not a link you rent. GS1 Digital Link resolution is coming; dynamic codes on your own domain ship today. The app is in build.

Design the pack, own the resolver

Packaging design happens in Canva, so that is where the code belongs, but the code behind the artwork is one you own. Custom domains ship today with no per-domain surcharge, so the printed image resolves on a domain you control, and your codes stay on packaging for years, so does your control of them. The GS1 Digital Link layer, a GS1 Digital Link on your GTIN, resolving on your own domain, is coming: we describe it as in preview, not live.

Canva questions

What does the Canva app do?

It adds standards-ready product QR codes to packaging and label designs without leaving Canva, a GS1 Digital Link on your GTIN, resolving on your own domain, dropped straight into the artwork. The Digital Link parser ships today; full GS1 resolution is coming and is described as in preview. The app is in build.

Does a code baked into a design ever go stale?

No, the code is dynamic. The printed image encodes a short link, not the final destination, so the artwork on the pack is permanent while the destination stays editable. Change it in the console; the next scan follows the new rule, no reprint.

Are the print files packaging-grade?

redireo exports SVG, PNG, PDF, and ZPL today, all of which drop cleanly into a Canva design, plus GS1 label-sheet PDFs and ZIP archives. Every export returns an advisory scannability check (quiet zone, contrast, minimum size).
